Last week The Temper Trap played Barcelona at Be Cool, and yes, it was cool. I was a Temper Trap first timer so naturally I did not know what t expect. The first thing I noticed was that they were mad energetic, the lead singer was all over the place singing with that remarkable voice that he has and filling the stage with vibes. Although it was a short set, I was very impressed, specially by “Drum Song” which was absolutely fantastic, the percussion was incredible, there was even water being splashed into the drums which was splashing my hair which was constantly moving (I guess splashing whoever was around me right back) it was a great show, the band was feeding off from the good vibes the audience was giving and reproducing them into beautiful pulsating sounds that took over the venue. Towards the end of the night, I met Lorenzo, the guitar player and chatted up a bit about this and that and who knows what, nice band, great sound, two thumbs up.
